ABOUT US

A Safe Place. A New Beginning. For Women and Children.

Who We Are

The Gamp Haven Foundation was established to respond to one of Nigeria’s most heartbreaking and often hidden crises: domestic abuse against women and children.

In communities across the country, too many women are suffering in silence. Too many children are growing up in homes where fear walks louder than love. And too many survivors are left with nowhere to turn when escape feels impossible.

We exist to change that.

At The Gamp Haven Foundation, we are building more than a shelter; we are building a haven. A place where survivors of abuse can find safety, healing, and a second chance at life. A place where children can smile again. A place where pain is met with compassion and silence is replaced with support.

We are grounded in three core beliefs:

Safety is a right, not a privilege.

Healing is possible with the right support.

Every survivor has the power to rise when given the opportunity.

Whether through refuge or reform, emergency care or education, our desire is simple but urgent: to break the cycle of abuse and to walk with survivors as they rebuild the futures they choose for themselves.

If you believe in a world where no woman or child should live in fear, you believe in the work of The Gamp Haven Foundation.
